Native Animal Rescue has been renamed to Perth Wildlife Hospital

NEW NAME SAME HEART

We might look a little different, but our mission, our team, and our love for wildlife remain exactly the same.

About Perth Wildlife Hospital

Perth Wildlife Hospital is proudly owned and operated by Native Animal Rescue Inc, a not-for-profit, non-government incorporated organisation. Founded in 1982, our headquarters are located on a 15-hectare natural bush site in Malaga, Western Australia, home to WA’s first purpose-built wildlife hospital.

In addition to our Malaga facility, Native Animal Rescue operates a regional branch in Broome, expanding our reach and impact across the state.

Our Mission & Goals

At Perth Wildlife Hospital, we’re committed to:

  • Providing expert care for sick, injured, orphaned, and displaced native animals, with the goal of successful rehabilitation and release
  • Contributing to statewide conservation strategies in collaboration with councils, government departments, and universities
  • Offering facilities for training wildlife practitioners and educating the broader community on wildlife issues
  • Supporting veterinary students in learning best-practice care and handling of native species
  • Providing resources and infrastructure to enable research into wildlife health and conservation
