What We Do
At Perth Wildlife Hospital, we’re dedicated to giving sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife a second chance. Every day, our expert team of wildlife carers, vets, and volunteers works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and release animals back into their natural environment. We’re here for the creatures that can’t ask for help — from black cockatoos and bobtail lizards to kangaroos and possums — providing critical medical treatment, shelter, and specialised care.
But our work goes beyond emergency care. We advocate for wildlife protection, deliver education programs to schools and communities, and collaborate with researchers and conservation groups to promote long-term solutions that safeguard WA’s native species. Through outreach, advocacy, and hands-on action, we aim to build a future where wildlife can thrive.
Whether it’s responding to crisis calls, raising public awareness, or nurturing the most vulnerable animals back to health, everything we do is driven by compassion, science, and a deep respect for our natural environment. We’re proud to be a lifeline for the wild — and with your support, we can continue to be there when it matters most.
